Congrats are in order, because Pittsburgh was just named one of the best cities in America for Coffee! Wallethub just ranked Pittsburgh as the fifth-best city the United States for coffee based on factors such as coffee shops per capita and the average price of coffee. I would have thought that Seattle would have landed the number one spot, but in a shocking upset, Portland ranked as number one. San Francisco was number two, Seattle was number three, and Orlando, of all places, was number four.

In honor of our ranking, I thought I'd share some of my favorite coffee places around the area:

Ineffable Ca Phe

Ineffable Ca Phe is my all-time favorite coffee shop. Located in Bloomfield, their specialty is Vietnamese coffee and banh mi. They also hold special events there.

Commonplace Coffee

I'm a new fan of Commonplace, but man, I am a fan. I live near the Bloomfield one and I got at least a few times a week. They have seven locations in the Pittsburgh area and, obviously, have great coffee. Highly recommend!

Constellation Coffee

For a no-nonsense cup of coffee or espresso, look no further than Constellation. I used to go nearly every day when I lived near the area. They also have outstanding mochas.

I have so many more favorites, but these are my favorite places right now. Let me know if you have any good recommendations!
